Pork Chop Marinade FAQ
How long should I marinate the pork chops?
Marinate the pork chops for at least 4 hours, but up to overnight for best results. This will give the marinade enough time to infuse the pork chops with flavor, but not so long that the acid in the marinade begins to break down the meat.
Can I use this marinade on other meats besides pork chops?
Absolutely! This marinade would work well on other cuts of pork, such as pork tenderloin or pork shoulder, as well as other meats like chicken or fish.
Can I use dried herbs instead of fresh?
While fresh herbs are preferred for this recipe, you can use dried ones instead. Remember that dried herbs are more potent than fresh, so you may want to use less than the amount called for in the recipe.
Can I save the leftover marinade for later use?
No, reusing leftover marinade is not recommended since it has come into contact with raw meat. Discard any leftover marinade and make a fresh batch next time you grill.
