Grilled Glazed Carrots

These Grilled Glazed Carrots are the kind of side dish that makes people stop mid-bite and ask what you did to make them taste so good. They’re colorful, easy to prep, and hit that perfect sweet-and-savory note that pairs with almost anything you’ve got going. Throw these on the Traeger while your main dish finishes up, and you’ve got a crowd-pleaser that’s ready in under 30 minutes.

Traeger Glazed Carrots Recipe

This one’s for backyard cooks who like to keep things straightforward and delicious. No need to fuss, you just wash, peel, glaze, and grill.

Carrots hold up well on the grill, which makes them a great choice when you want a side with some texture and char. That bit of crunch plays off the soft glaze in the best way.

The glaze is simple, but don’t let that fool you. Butter, honey, and a little salt is all you need. Just keep basting while they grill to build layers of flavor.

Multi-colored carrots bring some extra visual pop to the table, but you can absolutely make this with plain orange carrots too. It’s flexible and forgiving, which is what every good cookout needs.

FAQ

How Do I Store Leftovers?

Wrap them tightly in foil or transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Can I Reheat Them?

Yes, reheat on a skillet over medium heat or toss them back on the grill to warm through without drying out.

Can I Make These Ahead?

You can prep the carrots and glaze in advance. Grill just before serving for the best texture and flavor.

Are There Substitutions?

Maple syrup works instead of honey. Olive oil can sub in for butter if you want a dairy-free version, but you’ll miss some richness.
