Smoked Avocado Toast

Check out our updated take on this new brunch favorite with our unique Smoked Avocado Toast. This recipe takes the traditional avocado toast and kicks it up a notch by infusing it with a rich, smoky flavor, making it a must-try.

Smoked Avocado Toast

Why settle for ordinary avocado toast when you can have a Traeger Smoked Avocado Toast? This is not just your average breakfast or brunch item! Smoking avocados adds a depth of flavor that’s unmatched by traditional methods. This recipe also incorporates a blend of spices, poached eggs, and our favorite everything bagel seasoning, creating a satisfying and delicious dish.

The smoked avocado serves as the star of this dish. Combining it with the crispy, chewy sourdough bread creates a perfect base for the rich, runny yolks of the poached eggs. Adding everything bagel seasoning, along with the fresh cilantro and Anaheim pepper, brings a burst of flavor and a slight kick that perfectly complements the smokiness of the avocado.

Not feeling something about this? Change it up! Whether you prefer a different type of bread, such as whole wheat or rye, or you’d like to experiment with additional toppings like cherry tomatoes or crumbled feta cheese, Smoked Avocado Toast can be tailored to your preferences. You can also adjust the smokiness of the avocados by pulling them off the smoker sooner or leaving them on a little longer.

Why you’ll love this dish…

  • Rich, Smoky Flavor: The smoked avocados provide unique flavors that you can’t get without the smoker/pellet grill!
  • Nutrient-Packed: Avocados are a great source of healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals.
  • Customizable: Easily adapt the recipe to include your favorite toppings and seasonings.
  • Perfect for Any Meal: Ideal for a hearty breakfast, a satisfying brunch, or a light dinner.
