Easy Fish Recipes
Living near the coast of Washington State, fishing is a big part of our life. From March until mid-October, our lives kind of revolve around it, which means our freezers are full and we’re always looking for new favorites to add to our recipe collection.
While our fish recipes are primarily made using salmon, rockfish, lingcod, and halibut, these recipes can easily be made using whatever fresh fish you have on hand. I often offer suggestions in the individual posts, but feel free to swap out different types of whitefish like cod, snapper, or grouper for the recipes you see here using lingcod, halibut, and rockfish.
Salmon is commercially available all across the country, but we recommend looking for wild-caught Pacific or Alaskan salmon for the best flavor possible. Avoid farm-raised salmon, or any farm-raised fish if possible.
