Bacon Ranch Dip
I could pretty much live on appetizers for meals, and this one makes many appearances on our snack table during family gatherings.
Not only is it super popular, and always one of the first things to disappear from the table – it is also really, really easy.
I always buy my ranch dressing mix in bulk because that stuff is good in a LOT of things. My 20 Minute Taco Soup is one of them. Ranch dressing mix does amazing things when combined with those other ingredients. I can’t explain it, it just is.
You can also add it to something like this Loaded Baked Potato Salad and watch amazing things happen.
Ranch Dressing Mix = magic. Always.
The amazing thing is that even my picky kids liked this little snack. I think it mayyyybe was all the bacon and cheese and crackers it was served with, but you really never know. Maybe those kids are actually losing a little of their pickiness. Then again, maybe not. Kids can be fickle sometimes (all the time).
Do you guys loving doing appstravaganzas as much as I do? I try to have at least one family gathering a year where we do nothing but apps.
Usually that is Christmas Eve at my Mother-in-law’s house. They open the majority of the presents on Christmas Eve in the awesome family I married into, so the kids are worked up into a FRENZY by the time we all eat, clean up, and get situated for presents.
Doing apps only saves everyone time and frustration, and WHO DOESN’T LOVE ELEVENTY APPS on the buffet?
If you don’t, we can’t be friends anymore. Appetizers for life.
Make this one for your next gathering. It works great at BBQs and potlucks, or just on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
