This recipe was very disappointing. I added 1 3/4 cups of half and half and it was entirely too watery and never thickened. Then I thought, was it supposed to be one 3/4 cup? It’s very misleading. Also, the recipe is different on the Pinterest link than it is here. The amount of pudding is not the same.

I'm so sorry that didn't turn out the way you expected. The recipe does call for 1 & 3/4 cups of half-and-half. What I suspect happened here is that you used prepared pudding instead of instant pudding mix? That's the only way this could've been too watery. A 3.4 ounce box of instant pudding mix calls for 2 cups of milk to make a pudding-like consistency. If you used 1/4 cup less than that, it definitely would be thick enough especially with the addition of the cream cheese.
