Baby Blue Punch

This Baby Blue Punch packs an adult-sized kick, so make sure to keep the kids away! It is BABY shower time for one of our most beloved fellow bloggers, Angie of Big Bear’s Wife! She just welcomed her little baby bear into the world this week, and we wanted to get together and throw her the biggest virtual baby shower that the food bloggers of the interwebs can possibly put together.

Baby Blue Punch

I know some people really dig the super lame fun games you play at baby showers, but for me, any kind of shower games are all kinds of NOPE. I just can not get all into diapering baby dolls, or seeing how many squares of toilet paper around I am. Nope. Nope. Nope.

I get that these things are totally par-for-the-course at showers, so when I AM compelled to participate it sure does help if there is a drink around with a little something extra added that isn’t for the kids and pregnant ladies in the group to make the silliness a little more tolerable. That and awesome party foods like this Bacon Ranch Dip go a long LONG ways toward helping me enjoy that baby-related word search.

I’m already a little obsessed with blue drinks, so this one was right up my alley. You may have seen my Pineapple Prosecco Cocktail. My version of the baby blue punch doesn’t include any kool-aid, but it DOES include Blue Fanta, which is basically just blue kool-aid with fizz.

You can make this by the pitcher, or you can make this by the glass. Either way, your party guests are going to love this festive, fruity cocktail.

You can definitely switch up the soda to strawberry too if it is TWINS or there’s a little girl on the way!

Baby Blue Punch

Put some scoops of sherbet in the mix for an even fluffier cocktail. Just keep the kids away. This doesn’t taste like it has much alcohol in it. For garnish, a twist of orange would be amazing, but this girl completely neglected alllllll thoughts of garnish while I was at the store.

Want an adorable dessert to serve? Try these Wild One Cupcakes or these incredible Unicorn Cupcakes! They would be adorable for a baby shower.
