Pineapple Prosecco Cocktail

This pineapple prosecco cocktail is like your favorite mimosa fell in love with fresh, ripe pineapple juice, and a shot of the ever-classy Kinky Blue Liqueur.

Pineapple Prosecco Cocktail

This prosecco concoction is a tropical, bubbly delight, and one that I’m sure is going to make an appearance or two at our next company retreat. A Mediavine teal cocktail is something we’ve been questing to perfect for a while, and I think I’m well on my way to finding the perfect one.

My love of bubbly is new and profound, and I’m a little irritated at myself that I didn’t discover champagne and prosecco earlier in life. Fortunately, that leaves me all the opportunities now to make awesome drinks with them and share with you. You may have seen my Orange Creamsicle Mimosa for a crowd recently. You must check it out.

You’d be surprised how hard it is to find good blue alcohol to use in these drinks. It is not easy.

Your first choice is Blue Curacao, which I cannot pronounce to save my life. And a big huge, “Thanks, a LOT, ya JERKS!” to all of my former customers at the eleventy bars I tended, which I always referred to this as “blue curr-rock-o”. Turns out that ISN’T right, and I’ve been half an idiot for all of my 35 years.

The next option is something called Hpnotiq, which I’m sure tastes good enough, in theory, but I really wanted to boycott because of the insane kre8tive spelling alone – but you guys it is BLUE, and remember? Blue alcohol is hard to find and my options are limited because I was a moron with horrible friends and customers who liked to hear me mispronounce things.

But the taste in reality? Not so much.

Pineapple Prosecco Cocktail

The last option for blue alcohol that I’ve found so far as been this Kinky liqueur. (WHY do all the blue alcohols have names that are ridiculous or insane sounding??)

This Kinky liqueur is flavored with wild berry and “tropical” flavors, and though I wish I could use it but not name it – it actually tastes pretty good.

Especially mixed with prosecco and pineapple, and at least they spelled their brand name correctly, right? (Come on. I’m grasping here and justifying buying something, anything, titled, “Kinky”.)

Hey Johnson, Although I don't like pineapple much more, but I'll surely try this cocktail because it looks interesting and hope it will be tasty too.

This post makes me happy to infinity. First, because I am not the lone dumbass mispronouncing "Curacao" and second because I'm your favorite :D Also JENGA. TEAL JENGA. I'm really sorry all the blue liquors have stupid names. Maybe next time we can try playing with blueberry juice? I made teal Jell-O shots. So I'll see you at IFBC with those!
