Brown hash browns and season well with salt and pepper. Place into a baking dish that has been thoroughly sprayed with cooking spray. Top with crumbled cooked sausage, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar.
Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. Pour into baking dish, and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese has slightly browned on top.
Notes
Easily adapt to your slow cooker! Just layer the ingredients in your crock pot, and heat on high for an hour or two, or until the eggs are set.
