I’ve been an XFINITY customer for a long time. Despite many moves to many areas, cable and internet is usually 2nd on my list – right after electricity. I’ve been through numerous installations, cancellations, upgrades, downgrades, refunds, and questions with a LOT of different cable companies. After all this time, and all of these companies, I keep going back to XFINITY. We’ve had our disagreements, the billing department and I, but its always been dealt with professionally and ended with me satisfied and happy. There’s something to say for that!
I love how far the technology has come. My kids are almost all old enough to work the remote now, and there are some show titles that I’d *really* rather not have to explain to my 6, 8, 10, and 11 year olds. XFINITY lets you block those. And now if you have the X1 platform, they’ve come out with an all new Kids Zone too, which I’m totally in love with.
I work from home, and let my littles watch some tv during the day while I work. They mostly play in the living room, but occasionally stand still long enough to catch some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Little Einsteins. I mean – come on. I have 7 kids and 3 of them are 2 and under. They watch some cartoons so occasionally things like work, bathrooming, or dishes can get done.
With the Kids Zone – I don’t have to worry about my little ones getting ahold of the remote, and I don’t have to worry about my tweenage boys happening upon anything that I’d rather they not come across at the moment.
Even if the kids can’t agree every minute on what they want to watch, a little tussle over the remote won’t result in the purchase of a movie, or changing it to a non-kid-friendly channel.
Now all is right in the toddler world. Little Einsteins on the tv. Work is over. Play to be done, and hours to go before the big brothers come home and take over the TV. What more could you ask for?
