You are either wild rice lover or hater, there’s little in-between. I grew up in Northern Minnesota, so obviously it is one of my favorites. That and venison and pasties and hot dish. You can take a girl from the Iron Range, but that iron ore sticks on you forever, don’t cha know.

Hey, I'm from up der too ya know. Born in Grand Rapids, grew up in Hibbing and now live "down in the Cities". Ha!! Love your wild rice recipes and hope to give them a try soon. When I was growing up our neighbors had a wild rice processing plant, so we always had bags of wild rice. Thanks for a great blog!!
