Covergirl + Olay Tone Rehab Foundation

I am a member of bzzagent, and have been since about 2007. I love this website because I love getting new products to try (like the covergirl + olay tone rehab foundation I am writing about today!), and love sharing that information with my friends and family! My Mother in law calls me the “gadget girl” sometimes because I am always telling her about something I have tried or want to try. If you want to try out bzzagent for yourself, send me an email at orwhateveryoudo@gmail.com with the subject line – Bzzagent. I will send you an invite email and you can get in on the free product samples too!

So recently after a slight hiatus from actively bzzing, I accepted an offer for this Covergirl + Olay foundation campaign. I am a covergirl user anyway, and my foundation was running low, so I thought, “Why not?”

My normal go-to foundation is the Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation. I have used that for a few years now (ever since bzzagent sent me a free one a few years back actually!), and I really love it. It works well with my skin type, covers well, and might even be helping with the little wrinkles I am slowly seeing creep up on this 30 year old face of mine.

I tried the new foundation I received, Covergirl + Olay Tone Rehab yesterday, with mixed results. My normal routine is to shower, wash my face with my St. Ives Blemish and Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub, get out of the shower and moisturize with my Olay facial moisturizer with sunscreen, then start applying my makeup. This was a bit of overkill with this new foundation. The new  Covergirl + Olay Tone Rehab already has a moisturizing serum in it, so the double duty moisturizer left my face a little….slick. Even after I used the Covergirl + Olay powder after, I wasn’t a big fan of the feel of my face after.

I am going to try again today, without the moisturizer before the covergirl + olay tone rehab foundation, and I will report back then! Also check back for my before/after shots.
